I'm a college graduate from Eastern Washington University with a degree in International Affairs. While in college I have developed a profound interest and passion for Middle Eastern politics and I'm looking forward to sharing my knowledge with the world.

My aim is to clear up the myriad of distortions presented by mainstream coverage of the Middle East. This is a region of the world plagued by violence, poverty, and anti-American sentiment, and it takes a neutral and well informed observer to accurately articulate the causes of such developments there.

I'm also planning on writing articles on music, sports, and cultural issues. I'm looking forward to becoming a Suite101 contributor and I'm thrilled to be a member of this vibrant community.
